Where to find free food: Taste of the Terminal

Grand Central Station hosts a free weekly food and music event each Wednesday in July. Select vendors from the terminal are offering free tastings from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then later from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Live performances arranged through Music Under New York range from classical music to West Indian steel drums.

Today, the 22nd, visitors can enjoy Junior’s chocolate mousse cheesecake accompanied by blues music in the morning session. In the evening, check out the West Village Quartet while scarfing down samples of Murray’s Cheese or Jacques Torres ice cream.
