Whitey Bulger: Prosecutors release fugitive’s IDs

Accused fugitive mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger’s identifications were released by prosecutors this afternoon.

The identification cards were introduced as exhibits during a detention hearing for his girlfriend, Catherine Greig.

The IDs include a medical alert card that claims Bulger is a diabetic. Also included were a pair of AARP cards, a New York state identification card and an employee identification card that reads “approved identification document.”

During Greig’s hearing, former Bulger associate Kevin Weeks testified that he took photos of Bulger’s brother, Jackie, wearing a fake mustache for the IDs of the alleged mob boss.

Greig is due in court tomorrow to answer to her indictment.
