Whoops! Jessica Simpson’s family botched her intervention

First of all, Jessica Simpson reportedly has a problem with Adderall — which she’s been using a weight-loss aid — and drinking. “She’s out of control,” a source tells In Touch. Or at least she’s out of control enough to compel her family to stage an intervention. Which they totally fumbled, apparently.

“Jess is in complete denial right now. Instead of listening to their warnings, she’s made it clear that if anyone mentions her ‘problem’ again, they’ll be cut off,” the source says. “No one knows what to do because they want her to get help but they need her. So for now, everyone is walking on pins and needles.” I don’t think that’s exactly how that cliche works, but sure, I get your point.
