Woman, 30, bitten in Central Park attack

A 30-year-old woman walking in Central Park on Monday night was bitten by an unknown attacker.

The victim was near West 102nd Street and West Drive just before 9:30 p.m. when a man grabbed her from behind, tried to rip off her blouse and bit her left arm, NYC Park Advocates reported.

When the woman tried to fight off the suspect, he shouted “I will kill you!” before fleeing the scene. The victim was treated at Harlem Hospital and released.

The suspect is described as being in his 20s and was last seen wearing a red flannel shirt, black shorts and white sneakers.
