Police are investigating a weekend crash in Dorchester that killed a woman who was out walking.
Officers were called to River and Washington streets at about 5:15 a.m. Saturday for a report of a crash. When officers got there they found a 32-year-old woman had been hit by a car. The woman was taken to a hospital, but later died from her injuries, police said.
The driver of the car stopped and stayed at the scene. No charges have yet been filed.
