Woman allegedly throws hot tea on Dunkin’ Donuts employee

MBTA police are looking for a woman who allegedly threw hot tea on a Dunkin’ Donuts employee earlier this month.

The victim, who works at the Dunkin’ Donuts at Dudley Station, was left with “substantial burns” to the torsoafter the woman tossed the scalding liquid during a dispute over service about 3 p.m. on Nov. 14, authorities said.

Police released photos of the woman they believe to be responsible for the attack on Nov. 25 in hopes the public could help track her down.

“We are confident we will be able to identify, locate and criminally charge the individual responsible for this callous act,” MBTA Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan told theBoston Herald. “It is never OK to physically harm or verbally abuse another person simply because one is not satisfied with the service they receive. Whoever enters the confines or property of the MBTA and behaves such as this individual can fully expect the full resources of the transit police to ensure they are held accountable.”
