Woman and cat pulled over for ‘obvious license plate violation’: Police

Woman and cat pulled over for ‘obvious license plate violation’: Police

A woman and her cat were stopped by officers because of an “obvious license plate violation,” Massachusetts State Police reported.

A photo of the woman’s car posted py police on Facebook shows the car on Route 495 with the obviously homemade license plate.

The woman had a warrant out for her arrest and was immediately taken into custody.

The officer who pulled the woman over also made sure to make on the woman’s cat, which was “friendly and happy” as it sat in its carrier on the front passenger seat.

Both were then taken to the Millbury barracks for booking. The police made sure to emphasize that the cat was not booked at the station.

After the owner of the cat was released on bail the two were reunited.
