Woman commits suicide on subway

An elderly woman committed suicide this morning at a Bronx subway station.

The 74-year-old woman reportedly jumped to the tracks at the elevated station at 231st Street, leaving a grisly scene when subway riders could see her body hanging from the tracks.

The incident happened around 9:30 a.m., in the midst of rush hour.
