A young woman, who was sexually accosted by a stranger, offered him $20 dollars for him to leave her alone. It worked.
On Saturday night, a young woman, 24, was walking alone in Williamsburg at about 11:20 p.m when a man, who police described as black, grabbed her from behind. He started to fondle her genitals and then told her his plan to rape her. She begged him to release her and offered him cash, according to the police report. He complied with her request. They then went to a nearby ATM so she could withdraw the money. After receiving it, he fled the scene.Police still do not know the whereabouts of the suspect.
