Damon was indicted on the charges on Sept. 22 which moved his case to Worcester Superior Court, according to the Worcester Telegram & Gazette. He was arraigned there on Monday and his bail was set at $250,000 cash or $2.5 million with surety.

Damon pleaded not guilty to his charges, which include three counts of aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping, kidnapping, carjacking, two counts of strangulation or suffocation, two counts of armed robbery, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to rape, indecent assault and battery, breaking and entering in the daytime and putting a person in fear, intimidation of a witness and two counts of assault and battery, according to the Telegram.

Damon was arrested after police responded to a reported rape around 5:17 p.m. Aug. 9. A 27-year-old woman told police that a man entered her office and raped her at knifepoint.

Just minutes later around 5:30, another officer on patrol in the area was stopped by a man who reported that his 21-year-old girlfriend was carjacked. That male suspect forced the woman to drive off with him in the car, police said.

Then, a driver reported being involved in a hit-and-run with the same type of vehicle that had been carjacked.

Officers found the carjacked vehicle a short time later. It was empty and police said that the woman jumped out of the car after the male suspect sexually assaulted her.

Dispatchers then received a report of an armed robbery in progress at a business around the corner from the location of the car.

Damon was found there after a 38-year-old man ran from the building, yelling to police that he was inside, officials said.
