A week after two violent wrong-way crashes on Long Island roadways, Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice is calling for the state Department of Transportation to study road modifications that “can make these crashes less likely and better protect New York drivers.”
On Monday, Rice sent a letter to the Acting DOT Commissioner Stanley Gee citing “the persistence and grave danger of this issue.”
