Barbie has teamed up with designers Alexis Bittar, Alice + Olivia, Tracy Reese and Rogan for a social scavenger hunt. The way it works is that each designer created fall looks for Barbie which are strategically placed in their retail stores with a QR code. With the codes, participants can enter to win the pieces designed for Barbie in their size. Hop on Barbie’s Gray Line double-decker bus to get between stores.

Besides the fun lineup (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Proenza Schouler and Daphne Guinness will be just some of the fashion folks to spy) you can shop for a cause at Barneys. The department store will donate 10 percent of its Madison Avenue location’s sales (and its Barneys.com sales for Sept. 8) to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.

There’s just so much going on at Bergdorf, from designers galore to musical performances. But the real highlight is the Designer Dog Show, where participants such as Joseph Altuzarra and Badgley Mischka hit the catwalk with their pets.
