Zagat is opening a pop-up cafe serving mini versions of NYC’s best food

The portions at a new pop-up cafe coming to Astor Place barely qualify as bite size.

Zagat is celebrating the release of its 2017 guidebook (spoiler alert: Le Bernardin is tops for the eighth year in a row) by opening a Tiny Café in Astor Place beginning Thursday, Oct. 27, through Saturday, Oct. 29. Inspired by the idea that shorter reviews are easier to digest, they’ve applied that concept to the signature dishes from some of its highest-rated restaurants in the city, including Los Tacos, the famous burgers (and pizza, too) from Emily, and Jacques Torres’ chocolate chip cookies.

Swing by and watch the chefs assemble their tiny treats, then try a free bite or two from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at the corner of Astor Place and Cooper Square.
