The 2016-17 college basketball season hasn't even gotten underway yet and the NBA season just kicked off two weeks ago, but it's already time to start keeping tabs on the top-notch players in the NCAA and where they could wind up next summer.

There's no clear-cut No. 1 here, in fact, there's a good chance half of the players on this initial mock won't be near the first round by Christmas. But the top five guys on this list are close to slam dunks to go high in the 2017 NBA Draft. Our first mock of the 2016-17 season:
