The Massachusetts State Police recovered a body from the Charles River near the Cambridge side of the Longfellow Bridge on Thursday morning.
According to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, the State Police Marine Unit responded to a jogger’s report of finding a body close to the shore at about 8:17 a.m..
Police recovered an unidentified man’s body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The DA’s Office and the State Police are investigating this matter, and there is no additional information available at this time.
