T to run limited service on Monday

Another weekend means work on the T. With Hurricane Joaquin predicted to head out to sea, T riders stand a good chance of being spared from weather-related service snags.

Blue Line passengers will have to board and exit through the westbound platform at Bowdoin this weekend, but that is the only issue on that line.

There are no issues or planned service disruptions on the Green Line this weekend.

Starting Sunday, the Orange Line will have shuttles running between Oak Grove and Sullivan Station until Thursday, Oct. 8. Then normal service will resume until the same disruption on Oct. 11 to the 15th. This means Oak Grove, Malden Center, Wellington, Assembly and Sullivan Square will all run shuttle busses this weekend in both directions. This is due to the ongoing Winter Resilience Improvement Program, where construction crews will be beefing up the rails in case this impending winter is anything like the winter of 2015.

The Winter Resilience Program will shut down Red Line service between JFK/UMass and Quincy Center starting Saturday. There are no expected interruptions for the Mattapan Trolley service.

The Temple Place stop on the Silver Line will be closed for construction on Sunday from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
