Robert Griffin III as Broncos QB could be a good fit for both parties

The Denver Broncos are still celebrating their 2015 Super Bowl title, but the attention is quickly shifting to the 2016 and who will be under center for the defending champs.

It’s highly unlikely that Peyton Manning would come back at this point as all indications are that he will retire. Brock Osweiler, who filled it oh-so-admirably for Manning during the regular season, will command a ton of money in free agency and he may be out of the Broncos’ price range.

Here’s a name to keep tabs on in Denver: Robert Griffin III.

Denver sports radio host Benjamin Albright tweeted this week:”Just texted to me: #Broncos discussing possibility of RG3 if money gets prohibitive to keep Osweiler … RG3’s wife is a Colorado native … To be fair, I’m sure the #Broncos are discussing every imaginable possibility, but felt that was worth relaying … Whew. RG3 gets a lot of hate for a 26 year old career 64% passer w/ 48 total TDs to 23 Ints.”
