Did you mark your calendar for today’s vital holiday? Don’t worry, there’s still time to grab your favorite burger in honor of this important day. Here are our picks.

Shake Shack

Various locations

Shakeshack.com

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention Boston’s current burgery obsession. The chain has a few locations in the Boston area for you to choose from, and you can even bring your vegetarian friends — there’s a mushroom veggie burger. But for the meat eaters, you can’t go wrong with the classics. And since you’re there, you’d probably better get a milkshake too, right?

Cambridge Brewing Company

1 Kendall Square, Cambridge

Cambridgebrewingcompany.com/

CBC has you covered on two fronts: a selection of fine burgers, and a very healthy beer list. Because you wouldn’t be honoring the burger gods if you had the wrong beer alongside your meal, would you? Lucky for you, the staff at CBC are happy to share their expertise about what the perfect pairing is for this momentous occasion.

Uburger

Multiple locations

Uburger.com

Uburger is currently entangled in the ongoing debate about the best burgers in our fair city. Is it them, is it Shake Shack, is it Five Guys? Regardless of where your vote goes in this epic battle, you probably won’t leave Uburger unsatisfied. Try the Big Papi burger, which comes with jalapenos, gaucamole and chipotle sauce. Or take their name at face value, and design a “you” burger.

Bastille Kitchen

49 Melcher St.

Bastillekitchen.net

While Bastille Kitchen may not technically be a burger place, we’re not going to turn down a burger that has blue cheese, onion strings and bacon jam. Plus, if you want go a little adventurous with your meal’s accompaniment, you can try the escargot on their menu. Just don’t tell the French you’re eating snails and hamburgers.
