FX announced today that Denis Leary’s new sitcom will be getting a ten episode order. The show, called “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll,” will star Leary as a washed up former rock star who ruined his band’s chances of hitting the big time back in the ’90s with his various rock and roll afflictions. Now middle-aged, he makes one last effort to reunite the band and get the heyday they deserved, or at least the one he thinks they deserved before he ruined it for them.

Also appearing in the show will be the guy everyone hoped Carrie Bradshaw would end up with, John Corbett (ooh, fightin’ words). It’s Leary’s first starring television venture since his firefighter drama “Rescue Me” went off the air in 2011. So, if you liked that show, but you do not enjoy fire, but you do enjoy rock and roll, maybe you’ll like this one. The show is set to air in 2015, and we think it’s important that you know Leary’s character will be named Johnny Rock.
