Well, hello there, new artwork for Lady Gaga’s new single, “Applause,” which looks like something Barbra Streisand would do circa 1983!

Gaga unveiled this cover on Sunday to Women’s Wear Daily, which was created by photography duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who also filmed the single’s music video. The single will drop on August 19th.

“What I’m saying in the song essentially is that I live for the applause. I live for the way you cheer and scream for me. Give me that thing that I love. Put your hands up, make them touch,” she told the magazine about her inspiration for the single, which is a much, much title than just calling it “Clappin’.”
