Take that, haters!
Lana Del Rey gave a vastly improved live performance last night on “The Late Show With David Letterman.” She’s obviously been practicing since that mess of a set on “Saturday Night Live” a few weeks ago. Nothing like the sting of internet criticism to make you get your act together.
As she sang her hit song “Video Games,” we found ourselves more entranced by her haunting vocals, this time, than her lack of stage presence — which is still obvious, but not as painfully so as it was on “SNL.” At least she cracked a smile this time.
Letterman even playfully asked whether she could return again the next night — and the night after that. We’re right there with you, Dave — if Lana keeps up the good work, we could get used to this!
