While the first baby might have caught Simon Cowell somewhat off-guard, the “X Factor” boss is ready for more now that his son, Eric, has been born. “I was born to be a dad. I wouldn’t rule out [more children],” he tells Extra.
“I had a brother when I was younger, so I kind of think it’s cool to have two or three.” And the dynamic of having a newborn at home with girlfriend Lauren Silverman hasn’t been exactly what he was expecting: “Lauren’s actually been crying more than Eric, so I’ve had to put one of those pacifiers in her, which she likes,” he jokes.
“Has to be fed every three hours, otherwise she gets a little bit grumpy – and Eric’s absolutely fine.”
