What’s that expression about the hand that feeds you? Oh yeah, don’t bite it. Don’t call it a loser either.
Snooki did both, when she told a photog that if New Jersey had a baseball team, they’d be called The Losers.
Which is not a very nice thing to say about the state that made you famous by allowing you to essentially crap all over its name on television, making the word “Jersey” forever synonymous with overly tanned human car crashes to horrified people across the Midwest.
Snooki quickly back-pedaled, however, saying that she was actually making a joke at her own expense — along with the rest of the cast of “Jersey Shore” — because “we were all turds back then.”
This is true. And turds is a funny word that I don’t think people use enough anymore. Definitely bringing that one back.
On a side note, wouldn’t “The Losers” be a great name for a movie about a title team of scrappy underdogs who win the big game with a lot of heart and comical antics, starring Devon Sawa or something? I would’ve watched the crap out of that movie in 1994.
