If you’re not a fan of spiders, this artwork will likely send shivers down your spine.

That was certainly the case for the Florida-based artist Cristiam Ramos, who was a self-confessed arachnophobe before he started turning cobwebs into comic book creations.

Ramos, who gathers the webs from trees and old houses, uses the fibers to create images of Marvel's Spider-Man character and his comic book enemies. 

“Making art with cobwebs is something totally new and different,” Ramos said. 

To date, 20 characters including Spider-Man, Venom and Carnage, have been created.
