Bieber’s smooth moves

Justin Bieber knows how to wow a lady. After catching a concert by Demi Lovato with girlfriend Selena Gomez at L.A.’s Nokia Theater, the Canadian pop star brought Gomez next door to the Staples Center, where they watched “Titanic” — with the whole arena to themselves, according to People magazine. But renting the place out for the night didn’t cost Bieber a dime, as the Staples Center’s managers were grateful to Bieber for previously selling out the venue three times. “Romance isn’t dead,” the singer posted to Twitter the day of the date. “Treat your lady right, fellas.”

Lautner single yet again

Taylor Lautner and “Abduction” co-star Lily Collins reportedly broke up just before their film’s premiere last week, according to Us Weekly. “It was a clean break that Taylor initiated,” a source says, adding that Lautner “wants to be single for a while.” Clean as the break may have been, it didn’t make for a smooth premiere party. “At the ‘Abduction’ party, it was awkward,” the source says.

PETA is mad at Prince William

Prince Harry turned 27 last week and reportedly celebrated by going hunting with his older brother Prince William, who gave Harry 250 pheasants, ducks and partridges for the trip, according to Hollyscoop. Naturally, PETA wasn’t too thrilled with the celebration. “We understand that Prince William has given a gift of ‘game birds’ to Prince Harry for his birthday,” PETA president Ingrid Newkirk says in a letter to William’s wife, Kate Middleton. “There is no honor in buying birds and reducing them, as if they were clay pigeons, to shooting targets. Those who aren’t killed outright are often dispatched by having their necks wrung, which does not cause an instant or painless death.”
