To be honest, I didn’t even know that Jonathan Groff of “Glee” and “Star Trek Into Darkness” star Zachary Quinto were dating, which is upsetting, because it pleases me to think of my love of science fiction and musicals united in one couple. Anyway, it doesn’t matter now, because apparently they are no more.
Groff and Quinto recently broke up after dating for more than a year, according to Just Jared. Quinto came out of the closet in 2011 and went public with his relationship with Groff last year. The breakup seems perfectly civilized, and the two remain friends; Quinto even went to see Groff perform recently. So maybe there’s hope yet for a singing “Star Trek” love story.
