THE NIGHT THAT CHANGED AMERICA: A GRAMMY® SALUTE TO THE BEATLES

Metro’s Sunday night TV breakdown.

‘The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles’
SPECIAL. We have two words for you: Annie Lennox. Lennox reunites with her Eurythmics bandmate Dave Stewart for the 50th anniversary celebration of The Beatles legendary appearance on the “Ed Sullivan Show.” Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will be there, of course, along with performers including Katy Perry, John Mayer, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Imagine Dragons, Pharell and more. Let’s just hope Robin Thicke doesn’t show up. We’re all sick of Robin Thicke, right?
8 p.m., CBS

‘The Walking Dead’
ZOMBIES. Much like “Game of Thrones,” the mid-season finale of “Walking Dead” ended in bloodshed. Actually, it ended in a bloodbath. Those zombies are hungryyyy. The winter premiere picks up where that massacre left off — with Rick suffering some pretty bad injuries and Carl left to fight off brain-thirsty walkers all by his lonesome.
9 p.m., AMC

‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’
REALITY. You know what’s even more pointless than watching an episode of the “Kardashians?” Watching an episode of the “Kardashians” when we’ve already seen the whole circus played out in real life. Which is why tuning in to find out what Kanye has in store for Kim’s birthday is completely… pointless. Spoiler alert: those two crazy kids get married and go on to pop out a kid.
