The New York Jets will attempt to break a slide of four straight seasons without the playoffs in 2015, but to get there they will have to first face a former head coach (twice), a former defensive coordinator who is now a head coach, and they'll have to play in another continent. Super Bowl, here we come!

The season opens with a home game against the Cleveland Browns and their head coach Mike Pettine, who was this team's defensive coordinator under head coach Rex Ryan. That the Jets' first game is at home now continues a tradition of six straight Week 1 home openers for the Jets, the longest streak in franchise history.

Speaking of Ryan, the unflappable and unfatiguable 'Rex' will return in Week 10 to play his old team at MetLife Stadium and the Jets will return the favor, closing out their regular season on what they hope will be a high note at the Buffalo Bills. There is also the opportunity to file tampering charges against the New England Patriots in Week 7 at Gillette Stadium as well with a home game in Week 16.

But wait, there's more! There's also three primetime games for fans including Week 2 at the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night. The Nov. 12 game against the Bills is a Thursday night match-up featured on the NFL Network.

The 'Bye Week' comes early for the Jets this year in Week 5, due to their commitment in London the week before as part of the NFL's International Series.
