“Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi isn’t just taking picture of the fabulous meals she eats on Instagram, the TV personality and cook book author is using the social media site to rally her followers to help raise awareness for Endometriosis, agynecological condition she suffers from. Lakshmi is encouraging fans to take a picture in front of the Endometriosis Foundation of America window display at Rockefeller Plaza — which showcases messages such as”Killer Cramps are NOT Normal.” Fans are then asked to post the image to their followers with the hashtag #EFA, and of course to tag Lakshmi @PadmaLakshmi. Lakshmi, also the co-founder of EFA, will select one participant and thank them over Skype/Facetime. OK super fans, you have until Feb. 3rd to get your chance for a convo with Lakshmi, and to do something good for the millions of women who suffer from the disease.
