The Word: Three’s company, Bristol Palin style

Here’s a scenario I imagine would outrage most Republicans: A 20-year-old single mother decides that what’s best for her — and her 2-year-old toddler — is to move in with two men she’s not related to and barely knows. In L.A.

Yet, that’s the exact premise of Bristol Palin’s new reality TV show. The still-unnamed series follows her move from Alaska to Los Angeles with her son, Tripp, to work at a small charity while living with her former “Dancing with the Stars” co-star Kyle Massey, 19, and his 21-year-old brother, Chris (Sarah Palin must be courting the ever-growing “Last Season’s Reality TV Star” demographic). It will air on BIO later this year.

If they get rid of Palin, the Masseys might have a hit on their hands: “Two Black Men and a Republican Baby.” They’d just need to check in with the Wayans brothers to make sure they don’t have that idea already in development.

Whitney is back in rehab

It looks like Whitney Houston is still battling her demons. “Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment,” her rep tells People in a statement. “Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.” A music industry source who was with Houston two weeks ago told TMZ.com, “She was plastered and she was a mess.”
