Finding the perfect wedding dress is hard enough. Imagine the pressure when Anna Wintour is about to be your mother-in-law. The Vogue editor’s son Charlie Shaffer married his longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Cordry this weekend at the Wintour’s home on Long Island, and, well, the bride looked flawless.
Cordry, who is a fashion executive, wore an Oscar de la Renta wedding dress and styled her hair in an elegant, low bun. Shaffer wore a classic black Burberry tux. and Wintour wore Chanel, the New York Post reports.
According to a write-up about the wedding in the New York Times, Shaffer and Cordry met at Oxford University, where they were both studying. The couple now lives in New York City.
