Not only does former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez claim he’s innocent in the murder of Odin Lloyd, but he’s going to prove”all the haters and down talkers wrong.”

A letter sold to website TMZ.com shows Hernandez responding to another letter sent from a penpal identified as Karl, who was previously in the same prison.

Declaring his innocence in the murder of the semi-professional football player, Hernandez still believes he’s a “great person.”

“I know ‘God’ has a plan for me and something good will come out of this,” Hernandez wrote. “I’ve always been a great person an (sic) known for having an amazing heart!”

Karl also sent Hernandez several photos of his girlfriend and daughter to post on the wall of his cell.

Hernandez signed the letter with his former Patriots number, 81. He added”Can’t wait to sign this again when I’m playing again and prove all the haters and down talkers WRONG.”
