Brookline Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man believed to be responsible for a rash of break-ins early this morning in the Coolidge Corner area.
Fire Opal, Bottega Fiorentina and the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse, all located on Harvard Street, were broken in to just about 5 a.m. or 6 a.m., police said.
The man was unable to get in to the Clubhouse through a rear entrance and left.
Money was taken from the registers of the other two businesses after the man apparently smashed the front doors.
Police described him as a black man, about 6 feet tall between 25 and 35 years old. He was wearing a blue or purple New Era brand hat with a black T-shirt, light blue jeans and gray sneakers.
