A possibly sick and almost certainly frightened feline was found wandering along the Mass. Pike during the Monday morning rush hour.
State police said they received “numerous calls” reporting a cat in the median of Interstate 90 in Boston.
“The callers reported the cat to appear either sick or frightened,” state police said.
At about 7 a.m., troopers Robert Monahan and Joseph Hilton responded to the area and were able to wrangle the cat.
Animal control officers from Boston were called and took custody of the cat.
