Cops are searching for two men they say robbed a Lower Manhattan McDonald’s at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

The two suspects entered the McDonald’s located at 208 Varick St. about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, police said. One of the men displayed a firearm as they both demanded cash from employees. The victims complied, and the suspects fled with cash, cops said.

A security guard had let the robbers into the locked McDonald’s when they asked him if they could use the ATM, the New York Post reports. The suspects then ordered the security guard into the bathroom and locked him inside.

They got away with about $3,000 in cash, sources told the Post.
