Esther Sanzo: New York City police officer killed in car crash

A New York City police officer was killed in a car crash early Sunday morning in Westchester County.

According to LoHud.com, Esther Sanzo, 37, was killed at 12:45 a.m. on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, after she struck a guide rail in the center median of the road. She was ejected onto the roadway, according to reports.

State police are asking any witnesses in the crash to come forward.
