Former MBTA worker faces charges for fake shooting

While the T’s debt was piling up, some workers were allegedly milking the transit agency for worker’s compensation by pretending to get shot at while on the job.

According to court reports, former MBTA bus driver Nancy Parker, 53, Burlington, was scheduled to be arraigned Friday for allegedly faking an attempted shooting on board the T bus she was driving in 2007.

Parker then allegedly scammed the MBTA by collecting worker’s compensation in the aftermath.

Parker, who got canned by the T for the incident, is charged with worker’s compensation fraud, misleading an investigator, and filing a false report.

The fake shooting happened in Chelsea in 2007, according to reports.

No information was available about whether this would impact her street cred.
