The eighth annual Futures at Fenway event is set to happen at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fenway Park, pitting the Boston Red Sox Double-A affiliate Portland Sea Dogs against the Washington Nationals Double-A affiliate Harrisburg Senators.
The event is a celebration of America’s favorite pastime, and according to organizers, a chance for fans to get a firsthand glimpse at some of the Red Sox’s most promising prospects.
Entertainment includes:
- Post-game performance by chart-topping artists, the Kidz Bop Kids, Billboard’s No. 1 Kids Artist of 2010, 2011 & 2012
- “Dog Day at Fenway” – For the first time ever, fans can bring their dogs to the ballpark (free of charge) and participate in canine-themed activities:
- Pre-game dog parade around the warning track
- Rest areas, water bowls and activities will be provided
- Photo station
- Family friendly ticket & concession prices
