Philadelphia’s Hotel Palomar, located on 17th Street near Sansom, will hold its first “Philly Finds” scavenger hunt this weekend, Oct 14th through the 17th.
The high-tech hunt will be aided by the iPhone and Droid app “Scavenger Hunt with Friends,” which will reveal the items, ranging from historic landmarks to famous eateries.
In order to win, participants must upload a photo of every item listed. Photographic creativity will be the ultimate tie-breaker.
The hunt begins at 8 a.m. Friday and ends at noon on Monday.
The prize package includes a new iPhone or iPad 2 and a weekend hotel stay at any Kimpton hotel in the country.
According to the site, a “special Philadelphian” will judge and crown the winner at the winner’s ceremony, which will be held at Hotel Palomar next Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
