Hurricane Sandy: Closures in Philadelphia (UPDATED)

This list is not exhaustive, but lists many of the places closed Monday, including City of Philadelphia offices.

Here is a partial list of closures due to Hurricane Sandy:

City of Philadelphia offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Philadelphia International Airport canceled all flight operations for Monday.

No SEPTA service on Monday; partial service could resume Tuesday afternoon.

Amtrak shutdown service along the Northeast Corridor at 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

PATCO and NJ Transit has suspended service

The School District of Philadelphia canceled classes for Monday and Tuesday.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia canceled classes for Monday and Tuesday.

First Judicial District of Pennsylvania courts will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The U.S. District Attorney's Office and Federal Courthouse will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

The Philadelphia Housing Authority will be closed Tuesday, except for emergency and essential personnel.

PA Wine and Spirits stores in the five-county area will be closed Monday; remaining stores will close at 3 p.m.
