Lucky fans will now get to see Jay-Z’s September concerts at the Barclays Center for a meager thirty bucks.
A reported 7,000 upper bowl seat tickets are available at $29.50 for the Sept. 28, 29, and 30th gigs. Better seats can cost from $59.50 to $254.50 to see the Brooklyn-born rapper and part-owner of the Nets, the team that will call Barclays home.
“He has a lot of pride being from Brookyly, so he’s probably trying to give back to the community,” a fan told the New York Daily News of Jay-Z’s decision to sell the cheap seats.
The cheaper bowl seats make up almost half of the arena, according to the paper. All tickets go on sale Friday.
