Police are searching for a masked suspect who backed a truck into the wall of a Staten Island restaurant and then dumped a drum of oil in front of the eatery on Sunday.
The suspect reversed his truck into Casa Nova Restaurant located at 3555 Victory Boulevard in Travis about 2:15 a.m., police said. He then dumped the oil in front of the restaurant, causing further damage.
Police released a photo of the suspect wearing the mask. They also released images of the truck that they believe was used in the incident.
The truck was recovered later at an unspecified location, The Staten Island Advance reported.
It is a red Ford truck with the name “Construction Inc.” on it, but it had no vehicle identification number or license plates, the Advance reported.
