Two taxis collided in Midtown early Friday morning, sending one of them over a curb and into scaffolding.
One driver said the other driver cut him off when he saw a customer on the other side of the street, ABC 7 reports.
The cars collided on Sixth Avenue near West 37th Street at around 1:30 a.m.
The vehicle jumped the curb, crashed through the scaffolding and into the front of a building. The driver of that taxi was taken to hospital.
No one else was injured.
The crash is the second one involving a taxi this week. A British tourist lost a foot after she was struck by a cab that jumped a curb near 46th Street and Sixth Avenue on Tuesday.
