Uber Boston offers free rides to Fenway Park for 100 fans

Uber Boston is going old school during Fenway Park’s Centennial celebration.

This Friday, the luxury livery service is dropping its prices like it’s 1912.

The company is offering “horse and buggy prices” to the first 100 people to take an Uber to Fenway during the weekend.

Each day during the series against the New York Yankees, the first 100 users will ride to the park for free.

“We couldn’t find enough horse-drawn carriages for this weekend’s series, but that doesn’t rule out other forms of affordable and reliable Uber transportation in the near future,” said Mike Pao, general manager for Uber Boston.

The service uses “sleek, black Lincoln Town Cars” with leather interiors and licensed limousine drivers.

Using a phone app, Uber tells you where the closest cars are. By plugging in your destination and where to pick you up, a driver will arrive with the push of a button.

Didn’t make the cut? Worry not. Uber wants you to get a black car to the game, so enter promo code ‘fenway100’ for $10 off your first ride.
