3 last-minute picks for the end of NYC Restaurant Week

As a deals expert, I absolutely love when NYC Restaurant Week comes around. I always discover a new haunt that offers tasty deals beyond these few special weeks. This summer’s round of three-course lunches ($28) and dinners ($35) is winding down on Aug. 14. Take advantage of these five-star deals now and start planning your return visit.

All’onda
22 E. 13th St., Union Square

Start your week with happy hour from Tuesday to Sunday and feast on discounted oysters ($1.50 each, east and west coast varieties) and spritzes and wines ($9) from 5-7 p.m. Try the All’onda spritz and their fruity Bellini. Save during Restaurant Week on dinner Monday through Friday and lunch, brunch and dinner on Sundays. The Venetian menu offers delicious pastas and fresh fish like branzino and dorade.

Ocean Grill
384 Columbus Ave.,Upper West Side

Seafood lovers rejoice — notonly does Ocean Grill offer discounted lunches and dinners during Restaurant Week but also special $25 wine bottles. All the seafood at Ocean Grill istop notch and delightfullyfresh. Start with the blue crabroll with avocado followed bythe rainbow trout Milanese. Brunch on weekends includes one complimentary beverageand starts at $15.

A Voce Madison
41 Madison Ave.,Flatiron District

Their lovely dining room invites you to enjoy an elegant lunch that includes pan-seared sea bream and ricotta mousse. (Their Upper West Side location at 10 Columbus Circle is also offering a Restaurant Week lunch menu.) Beyond these special weeks, take advantage of their three-course lunch for $33 on weekdays. Every day from 2:30-7 p.m., save with discounted appetizers like burrata ($10) and fried risotto balls ($9). The pastas are absolutely outstanding and full of fresh seasonal ingredients; my favorite is the cavatelli with sausage. During the week from 4-7 p.m., sip on $7 cocktails at the bar.
