Police have arrested a Brooklyn man for allegedly torturing his 3-year-old son by shooting him with a BB gun, burning and whipping him and forcing him to kneel on Legos until he bled.

Leonardo Decouite, 23, now faces multiple assault counts after police took him into custody around 4 a.m. on Sunday in Brownsville when the child’s grandmother called authorities, the New York Daily News reported.

The 3-year-old’s mother, Kiana Mohansingh, 20, also faces charges, police said in a related New York Post article. Sources said that she did not get treatment for her son’s injuries.

Decouite is accused of forcing the child to kneel on Legos until the toy blocks split his skin, the Daily News stated, adding that Decouite also allegedly shot the 3-year-old with a pellet gun, whipped him with a cable and belt and burned his feet.

Decouite has been charged with four counts of assault, the Post reported. He also has more than a dozen sealed arrests.
