Next week get rid of the Monday blues at a party where the main guests are all kinds of adorable.

In celebration of Leap Day, the Residence Inn by Marriott will offer a full day of free activities throughout Manhattan — including an afternoon puppy party.

From 12 to 4 p.m. on Feb. 29 the pet-friendly Residence Inn Midtown East at 148 E. 48th St. will host a puppy party in its lobby where anyone can come cuddle the balls of fur to let go of every bit of stress to start the week right.

North Shore Animal League America will also be on-hand during the party to arrange adoptions for anyone that wants to take the party home with them and welcome a puppy to their family.

Along with the party, other activities during the Leap Day include a silent disco yoga street party from 6 to 10 a.m. at 23rd Street and 5th Avenue; and getting a hot shave or manicure from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at mobile trucks on Vesey Street between Church Street and Broadway and Sixth Avenue between 50th and 51st streets.

Residence Inn will also offer comfortable calling pods between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Columbus Circle between Broadway and Central Park West for people to reach out and reconnect with loved ones.

According to the hotel, the activities are a way for people to use the extra day to do things they normally would not have the time to do.
