Harlem's version of Smorgasburg is back for the season.

Tucked beneath the elevated Metro North tracks at 1590 Park Ave. (between 115th and 116th streets), Vendy Plaza is open for its third year at La Marqueta on Sundays through October from 12-6 p.m. The 17 businesses are both newcomers and past winners of the Vendy Awards, dedicated to honoring the best in NYC street food.

Speaking of which, if you have a favorite vendor (in our outside the plaza), nominations are open for the 12th annual Vendy Awards. Held as a cook-off on Governors Island, this year's contest will take place on Sept. 17 with juried awards for Best Food Truck, Rookie of the Year, Best Dessert and Best Market Vendor, plus a People's Choice Award. Early bird tickets are on sale for $85; the next tier of tickets will jump to $100.
