Pro Day workouts are winding down but a number of colleges as well as local facilities will have showcase events this week. The New York Giants and the New York Jets are also scheduled to have an in-house local day for draft prospects this week.

Metro New York has learned that former Rutgers offensive lineman Chris Mueller will attend the Giants and Jets local college days on Thursday and Friday of this week. In addition, Mueller had a personal workout with the Detroit Lions, the Minnesota Vikings and the Miami Dolphins in recent weeks. The private workouts are based off his strong showing at the Rutgers Pro Day last month. Mueller trained locally at TEST Football Academy.

In addition, wide receivers Andre Patton and Vance Matthews will both attend the local college day for the Giants and Jets the source said. Both players, like Mueller, were at TEST.

Kansas defensive back Tevin Shaw will be at the local college day hosted by the Giants as well as the Jets. John Maddaluna, a wide receiver from Colgate, also will be at the Giants local day. Both players had strong showings at Monday’s local Pro Day held at TEST. Shaw and Maddaluna worked out at TEST prior to the workout on Monday, part of a draft class that was nearly four dozen deep.
