An early morning hold-up outside a Queens strip club has left Knicks forward Cleanthony Early injured.
Early, a reserve forward for the Knicks, was reportedly outside the CityScapes club in Maspeth early Wednesday when he was surrounded by four to six ski mask-wearing people who robbed him of a gold necklace and the gold caps on his teeth, sources told the New York Daily News.
The robbery and subsequent shooting reportedly occurred as Early was departing in an Uber car, and three other vehicles boxed in Early’s vehicle, the Daily News added.
Early, 24, was shot in the leg, and no word has been given on his condition, CBS added.
Early is in his second season with the Knicks, where he is currently averaging less than one point per game, according to the Daily News.
